Another rant - about cameras

I think this photo should prove it. If I hadn’t added the info for which camera took the photo you wouldn’t be able to tell - and if I had put the Raw files through a decent photo editor they would be indistinguishable. So what a lot of these internet gurus keep telling you is bullshit. Basic, simple, bullshit. But then what can we expect from persons who assume because they worked for a while in a photography store and have a you tube channel that they can critique the work of others and know all there is to know about a camera and a lens. I am willing to bet most of them could not calculate a simple optical formula - but they all know everything. I am willing to bet they have no idea how a camera, modern or analog, really exposes film with its mechanical shutter.

I could just be a grumpy old man - but I have noticed a tendency amongst those gurus to shit on smaller camera formats and espouse all the things you need to buy, especially their Lightroom preset packs.

So here is a comparison of three sensor sizes - and the smallest one looks just as good as the largest. And none of them compare to if I had used my 8x10 or even my 4x5. Just putting that out there.
